Cold Brew is Back! Forever!

Andytown Cold Brew Blend has always been an inconsistent coffee we offer here-and-there. A non-perennial blend, showing up and winning your trust and love just to disappear into the ether until another undisclosed date and time in the future.

The more we thought about it, this simply didn’t make sense to us. Our delicious cold brew blend should be available all year long. It should be delicious and dense and you should be able to make a balanced cup of cold brew in the comfort of your own home anytime you want. Drum roll please…

Re-introducing the Andytown Cold Brew Blend. A perfectly roasted Brazilian coffee blended with nearly every other coffee on our menu, to create a wonderful amalgamation of flavor and style in your cup. Our approach is quite simple and used throughout the specialty coffee industry: blend together your older coffee beans and brew them using the cold brew method, using the perfect recipe. It’s as simple as that.

Making cold brew concentrate in a tiny french press. Using 50g of coffee and 250g of water, this will yield approximately 5.5 fl oz of concentrate — enough to make 2-3 12oz iced drinks mixed with water or your choice of milk. One bag can make up to 27 fl oz of concentrate.

The secret to creating a delicious and dense cold brew is not only in the type of coffee beans you use, but how you brew it. Andytown brews our cold brew with a 1:5 coffee to water ratio between 12 and 18 hours. This recipe will yield a syrupy and dense concentrate that has notes of black cherry and dark chocolate.  It can be sipped on as is, or diluted with water or your favorite milk.

Reach out to us and let us know what you think of our new Cold Brew Blend and if you have any questions on how to brew the perfect cup of cold brew. Cheers!
