Sweet and soothing, this decaf coffee from Honduras will help you feel grounded when you need just the comforting taste of coffee to get you through the day. At Swiss Water, green coffee is cleaned and hydrated with clean water before being introduced to Green Coffee Extract (GCE)—a liquid made with clean water and water-soluble solids found in green coffee except for caffeine. The imbalance in caffeine content causes it to migrate from the bean and into the CGE. Within 10 hours, this process creates a coffee that is 99.9% caffeine free!
These beans come from the oldest coffee exporter in Honduras, Molinos de Honduras. They work with over 7000 smallholder farmers and provide them with technical assistance. This coffee is laid back and is tasty served black, or with cream and sugar. It has a pear-like sweetness and rounds out with notes of chocolate truffle and sweet bread pastry.
Our goal is to send you the freshest coffee possible. Sometimes, this means that we will take a day or two to process orders. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will be roasted on Monday and shipped on Tuesday. Weekday orders usually ship next-day. Bags are 8 oz.
