We have a Barista Position open at our newest location in the Mission! We are looking for baristas who enjoy creating memorable customer experiences in a high-volume environment. This position requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays..

COMPENSATION
$18.50 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience, plus tips and benefits.



Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of the coffee menu, various brewing methods, and non-coffee drinks.
• Taking orders and operating the cash register, preparing and expediting drink and food orders.
• Maintaining total cleanliness of the cafe.
• Ensuring that all food and drink items are to Andytown standard, only serving products you would be stoked to receive.
• Opening and Closing the cafe; following daily task lists, ensuring all equipment, surfaces, storage areas, floors, and windows are maintained and clean.
• Upholding health department standards.
  


Required Skills

• Motivated to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Commitment to honing your barista skills.
• Ability to do repetitive work, including tamping espresso by hand.
• Comfortability working in a small space in close proximity to others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
• Ability to stand up to 8+ hours every shift.
• Sometimes will need to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach over-head, to complete tasks.
