2025 was yet another successful year for Andytown! We opened 2 new locations—our downtown kiosk at 747 Front St. and our mini cafe inside Canyon Market. We also launched our new and improved website where we finally offer coffee subscriptions!

As proud as we are to be growing in our community, we have to acknowledge you, our loyal customers, for making all of this possible. We ran back some of the numbers from 2025 to see your habits and what keeps Andytown populated! Here's what we found:
Top Drinks of 2025

#5: Matcha Latte
Matcha has been consistently increasing in popularity over the years, so much so that we introduced The Matcha Plover in 2017 to appease what we thought was just a trend. It turns out, matcha is here to stay—and matcha latte's are a crowd favorite.

#4: Drip Coffee
Sometimes simple is better! Our 4th most popular drink of 2025 is the classic drip coffee, made from our Wind & Sea blend. Smooth, consistent, and comforting with subtle notes of orange and milk chocolate.

#3: Cappuccino
Like a warm hug on a cold, foggy morning, cappuccinos make top 3 and it's no wonder why. We pull espresso with our Short Strand blend for its syrupy sweet, toffee, chocolatey flavor that pairs perfectly with steamed milk.

#2: The Original Plover
Named after the small birds who inhabit Sunset Beach right here in the Outer Sunset of San Francisco, the Snowy Plover is our signature beverage made with espresso, sparkling water, simple syrup, and a heaping scoop of our house-made whipped cream. Though polarizing, the Snowy Plover keeps locals and tourists alike coming back for more.

#1: Latte (60% Hot, 40% Iced)
It's no surprise that our classic latte takes first place yet another year. This versatile go-to coffee order is the perfect vessel for espresso to get you through your day—rain or shine, hot or iced. It's always a good day for a latte!
Milk Preferences
What happens when you stop charging extra for plant based milk? We were curious too, so in 2025 we made a change—we stopped charging extra for oat and almond milk. Same coffee, same care, less decisions at the register.
From 2025 to 2026, oat milk orders went up from 21% of total milk-based beverage orders to 26%. Additionally, almond milk orders made a small increase from 7% of total milk-based beverage orders to 9%. Not bad!

With the upcharge for plant based milks gone, people felt more comfortable ordering what they actually wanted. Whole milk dropped from 69% of total milk-based beverage orders to 61%.
Milk choice is price dependant, but not overwhelmingly so. Removing the upcharge allowed people to try something new, but whole milk is still the biggest seller. Most importantly, there's no longer an extra fee for our vegan and lactose intolerant friends!
Bring Your Own Cup
As many of our frequent customers know, we happily offer a $0.50 discount for those who bring in their own reusable cups. Although our paper cups are compostable, our customers are dedicated to eliminating cup waste altogether.
In 2025 alone, Andytown customers saved a total of 30,625 cups from the landfill.
That's nearly 10,000 more than in 2024—which was also an impressive 20,700 cups.

We are amazed by your dedication to the bring your own cup program and we can't wait to see you beat our record this coming year!
Cheers!
